Job Description Portfolio Planning Manager – APAC Location: Sydney Start Date: ASAP A leading renewable energy developer is seeking a Portfolio Planning Manager to join its APAC team. This is a high-impact role representing the region in global planning forums and working closely with senior leadership. What You’ll Do: Act as the APAC point of contact for global portfolio planning, budgeting, and the 5-year planning cycle. Track development and construction KPIs, flag risks early, and ensure resources are in place to keep projects on target. Lead quarterly pipeline forecasts and monthly liquidity planning processes. Coordinate governance forums and collaborate with global teams on strategy and reporting enhancements. Support roll-out of new milestones, systems, and processes as the region continues to scale. What We’re Looking For: 5 years’ experience in energy, renewables, or project development. Strong background in finance (FP&A), portfolio planning, and liquidity forecasting. Excellent stakeholder engagement skills—you’ll work directly with the APAC CEO and global leadership. Understanding of development dynamics and construction risks. Advanced Excel skills; Power BI experience preferred. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment Additional Details: Sydney-based role with hybrid flexibility (2–3 days in office). Full working rights required. Some travel to London early in the contract for onboarding and collaboration with global teams. Immediate start preferred, ideally before Christmas, as the main planning cycle begins in February.
