Step Into Your Next Chapter: Our Head of Department Curriculum plays a pivotal role in shaping a curriculum that is responsive to the lives of our young people and contributed to the pursuit of increasing a sense of safety, connection and belonging at Nerang State School. Facilitating curriculum design and building staff capability in curriculum design creates a staff of agile curriculum experts who contribute to planning at all levels and drive effective implementation into the classroom. Responsibilities include: Lead the relevant curriculum areas or whole school program to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students. Embed socially just practices in daily school life. Set high standards for student and staff performance. Actively participate in lifelong learning and ongoing professional development.
