Established in 1984, we specialize in metal fabrication and mechanical design services, delivering high-quality truck bodies such as flat trays, service bodies, tippers, crane fitments, and chassis extensions. Our reputation is built on precision craftsmanship and customer-focused service. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Auto Electrician to join our team. This is a full-time position responsible for diagnosing, repairing, installing and maintaining electrical systems in a wide range of vehicles and equipment. Key Responsibilities (ANZSCO-Compliant) Diagnosing electrical faults in vehicles, machinery and equipment Installing, repairing and maintaining electrical systems and components Testing and replacing wiring harnesses, alternators, starter motors, relays and electronic modules Installing aftermarket accessories including lighting, sensors, alarms, radios and control systems Using diagnostic tools to identify electrical issues and perform corrective work Reading and interpreting wiring diagrams, schematics and service documentation Performing preventive electrical maintenance and safety checks Ensuring compliance with electrical safety standards and manufacturer guidelines Completing job cards, service records and reporting requirements Skills & Experience Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology or equivalent qualification Minimum 3-5 years' experience as an Auto Electrician (workshop or mobile) Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills Experience with modern vehicle electronics, CAN-bus systems or heavy machinery (advantage) Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical documentation Understanding of safety procedures, risk controls and electrical standards Ability to work independently and in a team environment Current Australian driver's licence (preferred) What We Offer Long-term stable employment Competitive salary aligned with market rates Supportive team and safe working environment Opportunity for ongoing training and development How to Apply Please submit your updated resume and a brief cover letter outlining your experience and suitability for the role.
