Role purpose The key purpose of the Regional Mall Leasing Manager is to maximise revenue, presentation, and experiences within short-term mall leasing opportunities for a regional portfolio. Prospective tenants are placed in mall locations supported by stakeholders and aligned with the centre precinct plans, strategy, and action plan (VSA). The Regional Mall Leasing Manager is part of the wider Mall Space Leasing team and the broader Vicinity Centres Leasing team, collaborating with Vicinity’s centre-based stakeholders to ensure the annual Mall Leasing budget is achieved while enhancing the retail experience. The Regional Mall Leasing Manager is responsible for leading a team to meet and exceed annual mall leasing budgets, maximising the current retailer experience, sourcing new growth opportunities, liaising with stakeholders, and managing budgeting, client invoicing, account reconciliation, and debt collection for multiple centres within a region. What You’ll Do Lead & Inspire: Manage and develop a regional team, driving performance, capability, and engagement through regular coaching and development conversations. Deliver Results: Achieve and exceed annual mall leasing budgets by building a strong pipeline of new and existing retailers. Strategic Execution: Align leasing strategies with centre precinct plans and Vicinity’s Vision, Strategy, and Action Plans (VSA). Operational Excellence: Oversee compliance with retail display guidelines, manage risk, and ensure seamless execution of leasing processes. Financial Stewardship: Manage budgets, forecasting, invoicing, and debt collection with precision and accountability. Relationship Building: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver outstanding outcomes for retailers and customers. What You Bring Minimum 5 years’ experience in mall leasing, pop-up shop leasing, or retail management at area/store level. Proven ability to consistently meet and exceed sales targets. Strong negotiation skills and ability to close deals while maintaining positive retailer relationships. Financial acumen with experience in budgeting and forecasting. Strategic thinker with excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and leasing compliance requirements. Why Join Us?
