Job Description This role is responsible for driving JB Hi-Fi’s video content programme and leading the Video Content Creator. Collaborating with internal and external stake holders to plan and produce innovative and effective content for use across web, social media channels and paid performance media. The scope of the role primarily focusses on planning the video content marketing programme while also focussing on research, scripting and video editing. Key Responsibilities: Content and Planning Produce a comprehensive video content plan that aligns with the company's goals, increases brand awareness and drives engagement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and objectives. Ensure projects align with the brand objectives and are completed on time and within scope. Build strong working relationships with Marketing, Buying, Store Ops, Training and external teams. Project Management Manage the timings and operations of the video content program to align with our go to-to market content calendar and broader marketing plan. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, across multiple channels and (at times) to tight deadlines. Communicating progress with the relevant stakeholders. Ensure projects align with the brand objectives and are completed on time and within scope. Research and script writing Research and write clear and engaging customer facing scripts on current consumer electronic products, categories and latest trends in an easy to understand, educational well-structured message that aligns with JB’s authentic tone. Ensure content copy has been thoroughly researched and is best in class to deliver informative and interesting and helpful content for our customers. Adapt scripts as required for different video formats, including promotional videos, social media and more. Video content creation End-to-end development & production of video content including creative concepting, planning, script writing, shooting, editing, lighting, sound & post-production Shoot and edit raw footage to create engaging content that incorporates relevant graphics, effects, and animations and sound. Maintain consistency in style, tone, and branding across all video projects. Work with the internal teams to publish content across socials and website. Direct presenters on set and ideally be able to present pieces to camera. Understanding of platform-specific best practices for engagement, trends, and audience retention
