The key duties of the position include The Role As a Security Advisor in the Security Incident Coordination Centre, you will: Understand the security risk context with the Defence environment to provide advice on routine to complex security matters; Identify research and analyse protective security issues to provide guidance and direction to stakeholders to manage security incidents; Build and sustain productive and collaborative relationships with stakeholders to achieve protective security objectives. About our Team The Security Incident Coordination Centre (SICC) forms part of Security Threat and Assurance Branch, which undertakes a range of specialist enterprise security functions to protect Defence people, information and capabilities from security threats. The SICC is responsible for the assessment of all security reports relating to the Department's people, information and assets. They are responsible for providing complex protective security advice to stakeholders to enable appropriate security controls. The SICC work closely with other Directorates, as well as key stakeholders across Defence to ensure security incidents are appropriately managed and mitigated.
