We aim to deliver original, high-quality Turkish dishes that reflect the true flavours of our tradition. About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with fellow kitchen staff and report directly to the Head Chef and management. Key duties for this role include, but are not limited to, the following: Collaborate with the Head Chef and management team to design menus and oversee the preparation and execution of approved dishes. Take full responsibility for the daily operations and overall performance of the kitchen. Contribute actively to menu development and ensure all menu items are accurately costed. Ensure that all food is prepared in accordance with established preparation standards and requirements. Ensure meals are produced on schedule and in adequate quantities for all service areas. Be available for functions and events to ensure all food is prepared and served to the required standard. Reduce food wastage through proper supervision and efficient preparation methods. Maintain overall accountability for delivering high-quality food to customers. Check supplies, equipment, and workstations regularly to ensure cleanliness and proper functionality. Ensure strict adherence to company policies, procedures, and operational requirements. Follow HACCP processes in accordance with the company’s Food Safety Management system. Ensure all hygiene practices and quality control measures are consistently upheld. Work collaboratively with the team to provide a high level of service. Train new staff to develop the skills needed to perform their roles to the required standard. About the applicant: Preferably hold a Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery. Possess a minimum of three years’ experience in a high-pressure, fast-paced culinary environment. Demonstrate a strong commitment to producing high-quality cuisine and delivering service excellence. Exhibit well-developed communication and organisational abilities. Be capable of performing efficiently within a high-volume kitchen setting. Hold a valid food hygiene and safety certification. Display creativity and contribute innovative ideas to enhance the team’s offerings. Show a proactive approach to professional development and a willingness to advance within the role.
