Support daily living activities in accordance with personalised care plans, respecting cultural preferences and family needs. Observe and report changes in residents’ health, mobility, and cognitive status to clinical staff. Promote independence and rehabilitation-focused care to enhance residents’ dignity and quality of life. Actively contribute to care planning, quality improvement, and continuous learning to meet new aged care standards. What You Bring: Essential: Certificate IV in Ageing Support Experience in residential aged care Knowledge and experience in dementia care Current National Police Certificate Understanding of behavioural and psychological symptoms of dementia (BPSD) Desirable: Experience in a Specialist Dementia Care Program (SDCP) About the Specialist Dementia Care Unit Our Specialist Dementia Care Unit is designed to provide intensive, person-centred care for older individuals with complex dementia-related needs.
