We’re partnering with a leading global telecommunications organisation to hire an experienced Master Project Scheduler for a key 3-month contract based in Sydney. In this role, you’ll be central to the successful delivery of complex, customer-focused programs, directly influencing customer satisfaction, delivery timelines, and project financial performance. Working closely with the Customer Project Manager and broader delivery team, you’ll own and manage the end-to-end schedule, track budgets, and proactively manage risks to keep high-profile projects on track. Key Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and optimise end-to-end project schedules for complex, multiyear customer programs. Coordinate with Project Managers and cross-functional teams to ensure milestones, dependencies and critical paths are clearly defined and actively managed. Track and report on project budgets, forecasts, and financial performance, supporting profit margin and cost control. Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, proposing mitigation strategies and supporting timely decision-making. Prepare and deliver clear, concise progress reports and dashboards for internal stakeholders and customers. Support the implementation of best-practice project management methodologies, tools, and processes. Collaborate with global stakeholders in a cross-cultural environment, supporting effective communication and alignment. About You: 4–6 years’ experience in project scheduling and coordination, ideally within telecommunications or other complex technology environments. Proven capability in managing complex, multiyear projects and budgets. Strong risk management and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly identify issues and drive practical solutions. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a confident, professional presence and a global mindset. It would be great if you also bring: Experience with project management tools and methodologies (e.g. MS Project, Primavera, or similar). Knowledge of financial forecasting, cost tracking, and margin management. A track record of driving continuous improvement and best practices in project delivery.
