About the Role We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor (Afternoon Shift) to support the Production Manager (NSW) and lead frontline operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You'll oversee daily production activities, ensure team performance, and drive safety, quality, and productivity across the site. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Culture Lead by example to maintain a safe, efficient, and positive workplace Drive team performance through coaching, mentoring, and accountability Promote a strong safety culture and continuous improvement mindset Production Management Plan, allocate, and oversee daily/monthly production activities Monitor output, address delays, and optimise machine workloads Maintain high-quality standards in line with QMS requirements Collaborate with maintenance, logistics, and quality teams Ensure efficient material use, stock availability, and accurate stocktakes Conduct incident investigations and follow up on corrective actions Support staff development and communicate performance expectations Complete effective shift handovers and assist with operational changes Other Duties Approve leave requests and support payroll accuracy Review Power BI data for coaching and training insights Perform other duties as directed by senior leadership About You Minimum 3 years' leadership experience in medium/large manufacturing Experience in steel manufacturing and machine operation (desirable) Proficiency with production software (SAP, ARMA or similar) Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities Safety-focused, quality-driven, adaptable, and resilient APPLY NOW with your current resume and one of our team will be in touch to discuss your application OR call Liz on 9955 4418 for a confidential chat.
