What You'll Be Responsible For As the Operations Manager for the Installation Department, you'll be responsible for keeping the entire installation workflow running smoothly, safely and efficiently. Key duties include: Daily Workflow & Scheduling: Plan and manage upcoming jobs, refine schedules and ensure the team is set up for success each day. Quality & Safety Oversight: Conduct site audits, carry out spot checks, ensure compliance with safety standards and coach staff on correct installation practices. Issue & Complaint Resolution: Act as the first point of contact for installation-related challenges, resolving issues quickly and maintaining strong customer satisfaction. Team Leadership: Lead meetings, monitor performance metrics, foster communication and support your team to deliver consistently high quality work. Maintaining Professional Standards: Ensure uniforms, vehicles, presentation and customer interactions uphold Plum's well known industry reputation. What You Bring Must Have: Proven leadership experience in a trade-based or technical environment. Strong organisational skills and a process-driven, structured approach. Confident problem-solving abilities and the capability to manage challenging conversations professionally. Current Victorian Driver's Licence. Valid Forklift Licence. Solid computer skills and experience with job management systems. Highly Advantageous: Qualified or Registered Plumber, HVAC or Refrigeration Technician. Previous hands-on installation experience in heating and cooling systems.
