Job Title: Facilities Hand Location: Tonsley, South Australia Salary: TBD (Commensurate with experience) Work Set-up: Day Shift About the Role: We are seeking a reliable and hands-on Facilities Hand to support day-to-day operations at our client's industrial site. You will ensure that buildings, equipment, and grounds are maintained to a high standard, safe, and fully functional. This role is ideal for a proactive individual with practical maintenance skills and a strong focus on workplace safety. Key Responsibilities: Perform routine and reactive maintenance tasks, including minor repairs, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting. Assist with scheduled preventive maintenance inspections and upkeep. Support external contractors with site access and coordination. Monitor and report hazards or maintenance issues to maintain a safe working environment. Maintain basic facilities inventory, tools, and equipment. Provide ad hoc operational support, such as moving equipment or preparing work areas. Keep the site, grounds, and buildings clean, organised, and safe. Be available for on-call work or emergency maintenance if required. Qualifications: Previous experience in maintenance, facilities support, or general industrial hand roles. Competency in using hand and power tools. Knowledge of safe work practices and WHS compliance. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to perform physical work in varying conditions. Forklift, light-vehicle, or other equipment licenses are a plus.
