Bookkeeping Team Leader Full-time permanent role Hybrid (3 days office / 2 days WFH) Brighton Location $90k Super Bonus Potential Our client is a software and services organisation and are seeking an experienced Bookkeeping Team Leader to oversee an off-shore team delivering bookkeeping and payroll services to clients across Australia. This is an exciting opportunity to join a stable, growing business supporting the automotive and trade services sector. Key Responsibilities Oversee bookkeeping and payroll tasks including reconciliations, journals, BAS verification, pay runs, reporting and GL management Provide guidance, training and support to a team of remote bookkeepers Manage client queries and act as the first point of escalation Review work for accuracy, quality and compliance requirements Support new client onboarding and monitor ongoing client status Contribute to service improvement, tools and process enhancement projects Assist with training, onboarding and development of new staff Ensure administrative requirements are met (documentation, timesheets, reporting) Identify opportunities to improve or expand services Key requirements: Bookkeeping qualifications (Cert IV or higher preferred) Strong experience in Australian bookkeeping practices Solid knowledge of GST, PAYG, BAS and general compliance Experience leading, coaching or mentoring a team (ideal) What's on Offer Full-time permanent role Hybrid working (Brighton office WFH flexibility) $90k super bonus potential Strong growth environment with ongoing improvement projects Supportive leadership and opportunity to develop your career Apply via the ad - Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
