The Chief Cardiac Technologist provides leadership for all aspects of the cardiac diagnostic services at Concord Hospital, with a particular focus on electrophysiology services. The Chief Cardiac Technologist is responsible for the standard of patient care and the development of operational protocols, in addition to performing regular clinical duties of a cardiac technologist. The role is pivotal in coordinating patient care, unit management and leadership to ensure the delivery of high‑quality patient care and the efficient use of resources, including the management of the cardiac technologists. Ideal Candidate Relevant qualifications or competencies deemed equivalent by the employer, with extensive experience in a broad range of cardiac diagnostic and electrophysiology services. Demonstrated excellent clinical reasoning skills in the performance of cardiac and electrophysiology procedures, reflecting a high level of practical expertise. Demonstrated experience in service development with proven ability to develop and implement protocols and procedures pertaining to cardiac diagnostic and electrophysiology services. Demonstrated ability to mentor/support technologists and technicians, as well as a high level of interpersonal communication and negotiation skills.
