Your Employer Our client is a family-owned, vertically integrated agribusiness with a longstanding reputation spanning crop farming, commodity processing, grain trading, stockfeed manufacturing, transport, and value‑added food products. With multiple advanced facilities across Queensland, they are known for their innovative approach to food quality, sustainability, and customer satisfaction. Supporting their ongoing success in the industry, a skilled Quality and Compliance Coordinator is now required to join their committed team in Toowoomba, QLD. The Role This full-time, site-based role provides support across two major processing facilities in Toowoomba and Dalby. Reporting to the Group Technical Services Manager, you will be responsible providing hands-on quality assurance, food safety system management, safety system oversight, audit coordination, and preventative maintenance system administration. Key responsibilities include: Conducting internal audits across QMS and WHS systems Managing and verifying quality documentation and supplier records Maintaining digital systems (BSM, SoftExpert, MEX, Rapid Global) Supporting training, CAPA tracking, and lean improvement projects Coordinating customer complaints and responding to QA enquiries Participating in external audits and HACCP team activities Assisting in the development of technical systems and SOPs About You You’re a detail-focused quality professional with a passion for food quality and safety systems. You’ll have a genuine interest in technical systems, the ability to manage multiple digital platforms, and a strong sense of ownership and adaptability. Other key requirements include: Previous experience in a quality, technical, and/or compliance role Working knowledge of food safety standards (e.g. HACCP, SQF) Excellent attention to detail and communication skills Confidence in liaising with operations, QA, and maintenance teams Flexible with early starts and occasional audit-based variation to working arrangements Open Driver’s licence and full Australian working rights Desirable: Cert IV Food Technology or equivalent (training can be provided) The Benefits: This is a rare opportunity to step into a role that offers scope across quality, safety, systems and training while being backed by a supportive team culture.
