About the opportunity Reporting to the NEX Building Group Transformation Leader, you will drive the execution and implementation of a broad scope of strategic projects. This will include the development and implementation of PMO structure, resources, tools, training and governance and all the dependencies needed to deliver a range of ambitious, high growth projects. More specifically, you will: • Ensure effective project resourcing, planning and budgeting to ensure timely, high-quality outcomes • Work closely with Head of Risk to identify, document, and manage RAIDD (Risks, Actions, Issues, Decisions, Dependencies) items to drive better risk and issue control for projects within the scope of PMO • Develop and manage PMO quality assurance activities across plans, logs, and governance documents • Establish standard suite of reporting tools in support of the mobilisation of the PMO • Attend project meetings, making decisions, and representing the PMO with senior stakeholders • Establish trust with a variety of stakeholders across multiple locations, and matrix-based teams and identify ways to accelerate project delivery • Identify, recruit and train business unit-based PMs, lifting overall PMO capability and performance • Monitor, review and report monthly on program quality, deliverables and benefit realisation About you You will share a passion for our purpose and be aligned to our core values; better together, be accountable, people matter and think bigger. In addition, you will demonstrate: • Strong experience in PMO, project or program support roles, with recent experience in a Lead or Senior PMO position • Experience managing complex projects and transformational change ideally across systems, finance and/or supply chain • Possess the ability to facilitate technical sessions to troubleshoot issues and remove barriers to project success • Effective stakeholder management at all levels • Strong knowledge of project lifecycle and RAIDD methodology • Approach all processes with a continuous improvement mindset • Have exposure to either construction, professional/financial services, big box retail, building products or FMCG • Be willing to travel interstate Interested?
