We are looking for a mid-level Integration & Validation Engineer to support the deployment, integration, and validation of a Broadcast Message Centre (BMC) application for a major carrier-grade network. You will work closely with both onsite and offshore teams, taking ownership of testing, troubleshooting, and customer-facing technical discussions to ensure the successful delivery of the BMC solution. Key Responsibilities Deploy and integrate the BMC application in the target network environment. Perform end-to-end validation and functional testing in line with project timelines and quality standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Domain, Market Services, and ICS teams. Troubleshoot technical issues onsite and coordinate resolution with offshore delivery teams. Execute test cases, replicate issues, and document findings and test results. Maintain and update deployment and configuration artifacts, supporting production readiness. Act as a technical liaison between internal teams and the customer, ensuring clarity and alignment on deliverables. Required Skills & Experience 3–5 years’ experience in telecom application integration and testing. Hands-on experience with messaging platforms (ideally BMC or Cell Broadcast systems). Solid understanding of IP networks, Linux environments, and basic scripting. Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment with tools such as JIRA and Confluence. Ability to read and interpret Methods of Procedure (MOPs) and validate test artifacts against requirements. Strong communication, coordination, and documentation skills, particularly in a multi-location/offshore/onsite setup. Other Requirements Must be available to work onsite in Sydney. Flexibility to collaborate with offshore teams across different time zones. Comfortable in customer-facing scenarios, with a professional and proactive demeanour.
