With over 30 years of experience, Partum delivers innovative, end-to-end power engineering design services, specialising in power transmission and distribution systems. The Role Genus is seeking a qualified and experienced Contracts Administrator to join our Partum Engineering business Team in Burswood, WA on a Part-Time basis (ideally 3 days per week). Reporting to the Commercial Manager, the Contracts Administrator will play a key role in supporting project teams with commercial and contractual matters across a range of energy and infrastructure projects. Key responsibilities include: Providing commercial and contractual advice to project teams; Drafting and managing Site Instructions, Variations, and Claims under both head and subcontract agreements; Assessing subcontractor variations and payment claims; Administering upstream claims to protect contractual entitlements and ensure policy compliance;\ Attending project management meetings to support change management and issue resolution; Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to drive improvements and manage risk; Monitoring contract performance and implementing practical solutions to ensure project success. Essential Skills/Experience/Qualifications Tertiary qualifications in Contracts, Business Law or related field (qualifications in Project Management or Quantity Surveying highly regarded); Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role, ideally within energy or infrastructure projects; Strong knowledge of the AS4000 suite of contracts and relevant legislation, including safety and security of payment; Proven experience in commercial negotiation and client relationship management; Sound understanding of planning and scheduling principles (Primavera P6 desirable); Excellent time management, communication, and presentation skills; Solid understanding of Occupational Health & Safety practices.
