Disability Support Workers - Values Driven NDIS Provider | Sydney & Surrounds We're recruiting on behalf of a long standing, values driven disability organisation that has been supporting people with disability across Sydney for over 100 years. They focus on person centred support, genuine inclusion and creating possibilities for a great life for every client they work with. Due to ongoing growth, we are looking for passionate Disability Support Workers to join their teams across supported independent living, community access and day programs. The role As a Support Worker, you will: Provide active, person centred support in daily living Assist with personal care, medication prompts and meal preparation Support clients to access the community, appointments and social activities Use safe manual handling practices Build strong, trusting relationships with clients and their families Maintain accurate notes and documentation after each shift Shifts may include mornings, evenings, weekends and sleepovers depending on the service. About you Experience as a Disability Support Worker or in a similar care role Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support or similar is highly regarded NSW Driver Licence and confidence driving between services NDIS Worker Check, Working With Children Check and current First Aid or willingness to obtain Comfortable supporting with personal care and behaviours of concern where required Warm, patient and values driven, with a genuine commitment to inclusion and choice for people with disabilities What is on offer Work with a reputable NDIS provider with strong values and a positive culture Competitive hourly rates under the SCHADS Award Ongoing training and clear career pathways into senior and leadership roles Supportive leaders and team environment
