Diesel Mechanic – Prime Movers (Full-Time) | Dandenong Area TRS Resourcing is seeking an experienced, qualified Cert III Heavy Vehicle Technician to join a busy, well-equipped workshop located in Dandenong . This is a permanent full-time opportunity working across a large prime mover fleet, with consistent overtime and optional Saturday work. What We Offer Hourly rate around $45 per hour (negotiable based on experience and product knowledge) Permanent full-time role – no labour-hire conversion period Standard hours: 8:00 am – 4:06 pm Regular overtime available Optional Saturday roster (1 in 4 weeks) Work within a stable, high-volume fleet/maintenance environment Supportive team culture focused on safety and quality workmanship About the Role You will be responsible for: Servicing, repairing and maintaining heavy prime movers Diagnosing mechanical faults and initiating corrective actions Component rebuilding and major mechanical work Working independently and/or as part of a team to high productivity and safety standards What You’ll Have To be successful, you will need: Cert III qualification in Heavy Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent) Strong industry experience as a Heavy Vehicle Technician Ideally, product experience with Volvo, Mack, or UD (highly regarded) Proven fault-finding and diagnostic skills Ability to work unsupervised or within a team environment Based in Victoria (Melbourne region) or willing to relocate Full Australian working rights Contactable references from at least two past employers Why Join TRS Resourcing?
