Store & Site Manager - Fuel & Convenience Store An established and privately owned fuel and convenience retail group is seeking a dedicated Site Manager for their Nhill location. With a growing footprint across Australia, this business offers long-term stability, career progression, and a supportive leadership structure. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role with oversight of team management, store operations, compliance, and financial performance. You'll be supported by an experienced head office team and receive regular on-site guidance from an Operations Manager. As the Site Manager, you will be responsible for running the day-to-day operations of the store while fostering a positive, high-performance culture. The Nhill store typically operates with a team of approximately 6 casual staff, requiring confident leadership, flexibility, and strong organisation skills Key Responsibilities Lead, train, and motivate a team to consistently deliver excellent customer service Oversee staff recruitment, development, and performance management Ensure compliance with WHS, safety, and food handling regulations Manage stock levels, conduct stocktakes, and coordinate deliveries Maintain POS accuracy, oversee cash handling and store finances Resolve customer enquiries and concerns with professionalism Rostering, shift coverage, and team scheduling Work closely with the Operations Manager on audits, risk management, and site improvements Ensure the store remains clean, well-presented, and operationally efficient What We're Looking For Experience in retail, fuel, hospitality, or fast-food management Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team A proactive and hands-on management style Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work flexibly, including some public holidays as required Organised, results-driven, and committed to high standards Benefits & Perks Base salary superannuation Monthly phone allowance & vehicle allowance Quarterly wages & quality audit bonus Career development with regular site visits and coaching from senior management Supportive and inclusive team culture with real opportunities for advancement This retailer is incredible: supportive and rewarding - PLUS you will be leading an amazing team!
