Description Join a leading domestic team within J.P. Morgan’s award-winning global research department. This role sits within the front office and will be working in a dynamic and busy trading floor environment. You will partner closely with various external clients, internal parties and provide up to date, industry leading research. Your days will be filled analyzing data, building models and discuss your views with clients across the globe. You’ll be able to recognize critical data points, analytical concepts and come to a logical conclusion within the modelling/valuation process.This position can be based in Sydney or Melbourne. Job Responsibilities: Directly cover real estate stocks and work within the Australian Real Estate Equity Research team; Liaise with corporates and industry contacts to help form your views; Communicate your team's ideas with a persuasive curve to internal and external parties; tailor your communications by client need/type; Contribute to thematic sector reports on Australia and Real Estate Equity Research team or cross-sector collaborations with other teams; Developing a wide range of industry contacts and organize corporate access events including one-on-one presentations, group presentations and investor property tours; Understands firm's approach and policies for managing risks in relevant business and applicable legal and regulatory rules, and follows policies Required Qualification, Capabilities, and Skills: At least 3 years of working experience in equity research or a relevant role within property i.e. corporate finance, strategy, research; Ability to build robust models with little guidance; requires strong analytical and valuation skills; Ability to clearly and succinctly articulate your views and anticipate market movements; Ability to develop relationships and interact confidently with business clients and management; Ability to work both independently and within a team environment; Ability to thrive on the challenge of competitive pressures and remain focused on client needs;
