As the Site Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional support to our clients in our home accommodation services. You will provide supervision and leadership to support workers that provide daily assistance at the residence and provide direct hands-on support with the participants. As a highly skilled experienced support worker and dynamic leader, you will lead and guide a team of support workers across SIL homes to deliver person-centered care and active support. Your responsibilities will include overseeing daily operations, implementation of individual support plans including Positive Behaviour Support Plans and complex Health Care Plans, stakeholder engagement, managing incident reports and roster scheduling. This role reports into the portfolio manager of the home division and you will seek guidance and escalate house matters as required. This position will ensure the completion of applicable administration tasks to ensure the quality of services for all participants is provided. This will enable our customers independent living in alignment with their individual plans and services that the home portfolio can provide in operating a 24/ 7 support system. Duties will include: Providing support that aligned to the person’s plans, goals and any other requirements, including but not limited to all aspects of personal hygiene and living skills to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment is provided. Modelling active support to the support worker team to guide their practice in person centred active support. Ensuring team member awareness of each individual clients requirements. Supporting the financial performance of the home service site through effective management of operating expenditure in line with budget. Delivering and encouraging others in the accurate documentation of all activities to ensure an accurate audit trail and maintenance of progress notes. What you can bring to the team A Certificate III in Disability and/or Certificate III in Individual Support required with experience in similar role Hold or be willing to obtain a Working with Children Check (Blue Card), NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card), First Aid, CPR, National Criminal History Check (Fit2Work), and an open Drivers License with comprehensive insurance on your vehicle. Experience in the Disability and Aged care sector, with complex behaviours and mental health challenges is essential to be considered for this role and relevant qualifications in this field will be highly regarded. Experience supervising site operations and delivering services aligned with organisational policies and procedures. Proven interpersonal and communication skills and ability to grow relationships with team members and stakeholders. Problem solving skills, to successfully identify problems, develop solutions and implement these using a logical and systematic approach.
