Key Responsibilities: Perform Scheduled service work Fault finding and troubleshooting tasks on locomotives Lathe operation Requirements: Australian recognised trade certificate and hold a Certificate of Proficiency – Mechanical or Electrical Working experience in a maintenance environment is essential – Preferably rollingstock maintenance. Lathe operational experience – this is a must . General rail and locomotive experience is desirable but not a necessity. Reliable & punctual. Commitment to a safe work environment and practices. Work autonomously and in a team environment. Focused on quality work & customer service excellence. Forklift license is desirable but not a necessity. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
