The Business: The company, established in 1975, is a proudly Australian fresh produce retailer with operations across Victoria and the Australian Capital Territory. We offer a wide range of top-quality fruits and vegetables from local and global suppliers. To drive our next phase of growth, we're prioritising digital transformation: expanding online presence and delivery services, strengthening supply chain management, and investing in warehousing and logistics technologies. We're seeking a dynamic ICT Business Analyst to bridge business needs with technology, enabling efficient operations and exceptional customer experiences in Australia's competitive fresh produce market. The Role: As our ICT Business Analyst, you'll serve as the vital link between business units (such as buying, warehousing, logistics, and supply chain) and our IT team. You'll translate complex business requirements into actionable technical solutions, supporting initiatives like app enhancements for real-time delivery tracking, supplier data integration, and warehouse automation. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to elicit, analyse, prioritise, and document business requirements, with a focus on online/delivery platforms, supply chain management systems, and warehousing technologies. Conduct business process mapping, analyze existing pain points and ICT project feasibility, and propose targeted optimization suggestions to enhance system usability and drive better business results. Translate business needs into detailed technical specifications, user stories, epics, and workflows. Facilitate communication between business and technical teams to resolve issues, align on project scopes, and ensure solutions meet strategic goals. Develop and manage user acceptance testing plans, validate implementations, and deploy functional solutions to guarantee quality, integrity, and regulatory compliance. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including system plans, process workflows, user guides, and requirements specifications. Monitor post-implementation performance of ICT tools, track KPIs, and propose data-driven improvements for continuous optimisation. Utilise project management principles to assist in planning, resourcing, costing, and delivering projects on time and within budget. Stay abreast of emerging ICT trends in retail and supply chain (e.g., AI-driven forecasting, cloud integrations) and recommend innovative solutions to enhance competitiveness. What you need: At least 3 years of experience in business analysis-related work. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Commerce, Trade, or other related field. Proficiency in common business analysis tools and methodologies. Basic understanding of ICT systems and how they align with business operations. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Proactive, collaborative mindset and willingness to adapt to changing business priorities. Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks or requirements simultaneously.
