PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES Champion ESG awareness, sustainable practices, and a culture of safety Conduct safety audits and safety assessments to ensure the application of assurance systems and identify opportunities for improvement Develop and execute programs, training initiatives, and safety plans aligned with regulatory and corporate Comprehensive analysis of sustainability data required reporting standards Compile reports for in-depth analyses of safety and ESG data Perform risk assessments for current site/region activities and proposed changes, identifying potential risk exposures and recommending appropriate preventive and mitigation measures Take personal responsibility for safety and well-being, promote risk minimization, and strive for the highest standards in Safety, Health, and the Environment (SH&E). SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE ESSENTIAL Tertiary qualifications in ESG, Data Science, Safety, or a closely related field of study is desirable but not essential Proven work experience in management systems, compliance, & data science Some knowledge of legislation & regulations related to ESG, Workplace Health & Safety & Environmental practices Proficiency in data science and the ability to leverage data for informed decision-making Results-oriented with a strong commitment to world-class ESG methodologies. High-level analytical skills & the ability to manage competing priorities effectively Autonomy in work & a commitment to maintaining the highest level of confidentiality Willingness to travel locally and interstate as required by Capral.
