Hotel Duty Manager – Novotel Wollongong NSW Novotel Wollongong, part of the globally recognised Accor Hotels Group, is seeking a motivated and experienced Hotel Duty Manager to join our professional Front Office team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key leadership role in ensuring smooth day-to-day hotel operations and delivering exceptional guest experiences in one of the region’s premier coastal destinations. Key Responsibilities Oversee the smooth running of daily hotel operations, ensuring a high standard of guest service at all times. Act as the primary point of contact for guests, resolving issues efficiently and professionally. Supervise and support the Front Office, Housekeeping, and Food & Beverage teams during shifts. Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and brand service standards. Manage guest check-ins, check-outs, and financial transactions accurately. Handle guest complaints and emergencies with sound judgment and discretion. Conduct property inspections and coordinate with relevant departments to maintain presentation and operational standards. Provide leadership, training, and support to junior staff members. Skills and Experience Previous experience in a Duty Manager or Front Office supervisory role within a 4–5-star hotel environment. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Excellent knowledge of hotel systems (Opera or similar PMS preferred). Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure. Flexibility to work across shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays. A genuine passion for guest service and hospitality excellence.
