We are seeking an experienced Raw Materials Coordinator , who will be responsible for the daily and long-term management of all raw materials from inbound deliveries through to warehouse inventory and supplier relationships. Key focus areas of the BDM position include: Inventory Management – Conduct monthly stocktakes, manage warehouse capacity constraints, monitor inventory value/volume, and enforce FIFO practices. Raw Materials Purchasing – Place purchase orders, schedule deliveries, monitor material usage, and purchase against contracts while sourcing alternatives. Supplier Management & Strategy – Build and manage supplier relationships, evaluate performance, and contribute to resin strategy by developing key partnerships. Production Support – Liaise with planning managers on material impacts and develop MRP systems to optimise scheduling and usage. Staff Leadership – Train and develop direct reports, conduct performance reviews, and manage rostering, payroll, and leave approvals. Operational Excellence & Safety – Maintain GMP standards, drive continuous improvement, and collaborate with HSEQ to ensure a safe working environment. To be successful in this role the ideal person should bring: Purchasing background and/or manufacturing scheduling would be preferred. Experience ideally within packaging or a related industry. Working knowledge of warehouse operations advantageous Good understanding of ERP systems. BC preferred Demonstrated ability in operational and strategic planning. Ability to translate data into systems and actions High level conceptual and analytical skills and the ability to identify appropriate solutions that meet business needs and objectives.
