Description The Role: As WA Football’s Digital Content Producer, you’ll play a key role in creating and delivering high-quality, engaging content across digital channels. Working closely within the Brand and Growth team, you’ll craft content for social media, websites, and email marketing that drives engagement, amplifies our brand, supports partnerships, and contributes to campaigns and product outcomes. Key accountabilities include: Leading and delivering WA Football’s digital content strategy across social media, websites, and email channels. Managing the content calendar and aligning output with competitions, key football moments, community activity, and marketing campaigns. Planning, producing, and capturing engaging content, including short-form video, graphics, and copy, across all WA Football and WAFL platforms. Collaborating with internal teams and a range of creative partners to deliver on-brand content and report on performance to support continual improvement. Staying up to date with digital and social media trends to drive engagement, reach, and audience growth across the WA football community. This role includes some evenings and weekend work during key moments and events as part of the dynamic football environment. Skills And Experiences About You: Relevant tertiary qualification in Digital Media, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or similar. Four years’ experience producing compelling digital content across social, web, and email. Strong writing, storytelling, and video production skills (planning, filming, editing) Proficiency in key content and digital tools, including social media platforms, CMS systems, email marketing tools, analytics dashboards, and content creation software Collaborative, proactive and organised with the ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively with internal teams and external creatives Why work for us: We foster a positive, energetic culture that makes coming to work genuinely rewarding.
