Currently, we are looking for a WHS Manager who will be accountable for offering direction and support on ongoing operational WHS issues, system development and legal requirements, establishing proactive risk-reduction initiatives, and contributing to the enhancement of safety across all activities. The roles and responsibilities of the WHS Manager will include: Collaboration and assistance in the implementation of WHS plans and strategies. Coordination and reporting of risks and incidents. Assist senior management and employees in understanding their WHS responsibilities and accountability. Create and document procedures as well as safe work method statements. Conduct workplace audits of contractors to ensure compliance with workplace policies and procedures. Create and deliver safety orientations, as well as take part in workplace incident investigations. To be successful at this role you will have: Minimum of 4 years in a Senior WHS position or in a comparable role Tertiary qualifications in WHS or an equivalent level of professional in a comparable environment We are open to experiance from any industry, but you must have at least 2 years of Australian-specific experiance. Great communication skills in fast-paced, hands-on environments. Excellent consultation, negotiation, and facilitation abilities.
