FPWNT specialises in: • Contraception • Pregnancy options, including MS2-Step Prescriber (Family Planning is a pro-choice medical abortion provider and provide medical abortion care) • Well-women’s health screening (CST) • Peri menopause / Menopause • General reproductive and sexual health The Opportunity We are seeking highly motivated General Practitioners to join our team. Key Responsibilities • Provide clinical services aligned with FPWNT guidelines • Contribute to ongoing service development and delivery • Participate in screening, follow-up, and referral processes • IUD insertion/removal (or willingness to undertake training) • Review and authorise pathology requests What We Offer • Salary packaging up to $15,990 p.a. • Entertainment Card up to $2650 p.a. • Novated Car leases • 5 weeks annual leave days paid end-of-year stand-down • Opportunities for professional development and career progression • Flexible work life balance roster arrangements • A collaborative and supportive team environment • The chance to lead and influence reproductive and sexual health outcomes across the NT Essential Criteria • Medical degree and current AHPRA Specialist Registration (General Practitioner) • Fellowship with RACGP or ACRRM • MS-2 Step prescriber (or willingness to obtain) • SRHA (Formerly FPAA Certificate) (or willingness to obtain) • Certification or willingness to obtain in Implanon and IUD insertion/removal • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills • Cultural sensitivity and understanding of LGBTIQ communities • Proven ability to work effectively in cross-cultural, multidisciplinary teams Desirable Criteria • Experience as a GP registrar supervisor • Understanding / Experience in using Medical Director / PracSoft • Understanding of Medicare billings If this sounds like a role for you, we want to hear from you.
