The Role As the Lead Solution Architect, you will be at the forefront of shaping Sanitarium’s technology strategy. You’ll work closely with the ANZ IT Leadership Team and key business stakeholders to develop and deliver an integrated enterprise technology roadmap, drive cross-department collaboration, and establish critical technology priorities. Partnering with the Portfolio Demand Manager and Information Systems Leader, you’ll ensure early engagement on solution options and oversee the scheduling and delivery of approved initiatives. Leading a team of Solution Architects, you’ll guide the identification of technology solutions and co-deliver integrated, scalable, and secure systems across our technology landscape. Key Responsibilities Strategy Development & Execution. Work with the ANZ IT Leadership Team and key Business stakeholders to: Identify the organizations core strategic objectives and develop a supporting technology strategy to enable their achievement Develop and deliver a technology roadmap and Operating Plan, which prioritizes and sequences the work required across both IT and OT environments to achieve the technology strategy. Technology Governance & Risk Management. Champion cross-functional collaboration to identify and manage technology risks. Promote consistent architecture practices, enforce security and compliance standards, and contribute to governance models for technology assets. Project Design & Delivery. Partner with key stakeholders to: Identify solution options, estimate resource requirements, and prepare project briefs for Exec approval Lead the design of integrated, scalable, and secure solutions Ensure smooth implementation and handover to operational teams. About You You’re a strategic thinker with strong leadership and technical expertise, ready to shape enterprise technology solutions. You bring excellent communication skills, sound decision-making, and a flair for creativity and innovation. Your ability to plan, organize, and manage stakeholders is matched by deep knowledge in architecture and design, cloud and infrastructure solutions, application and integration development, data governance, security, and service management. What you’ll need to succeed Experience: Over 5 years in Enterprise or Solution Architecture roles, with proven ability to design end-to-end solutions across cloud, on-prem, and hybrid environments. Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of Microsoft/SAP environments, Azure cloud, networking, APIs, middleware, data architecture, and cybersecurity principles. Leadership: Demonstrated success in managing technical teams and complex projects within large, dynamic IT environments. Qualifications: Tertiary degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related discipline. Certifications such as ITIL®, TOGAF®, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or COBIT® are highly regarded. Experience with manufacturing and operational technologies and collaboration with key vendors like Cisco, VMware, and Microsoft.
