Key Responsibilities: Troubleshoot minor equipment issues Schedule tasks effectively to meet deadlines and SLAs Assign duties, conduct spot checks, and ensure task completion Provide guidance and mentorship to staff Onboard new team members Coach on cleaning methods, safety protocols, and site-specific requirements Handle interpersonal issues calmly and fairly Escalate problems appropriately Ensure adherence to Workplace Health & Safety standards Take immediate action during accidents or hazards Report and document incidents clearly and promptly Provide clear instructions to team members Respond professionally to client requests and feedback Maintain high service standards and ensure client satisfaction Demonstrate knowledge of safe chemical use (SDS sheets, dilution ratios, etc.) Operate and maintain cleaning equipment (e.g., scrubbers, vacuums) About You: Previous experience as a manager in commercial cleaning (preferred) Experience in retail cleaning environments Experience managing large sites Basic computer skills for managing rosters and systems Reliable and punctual Strong attention to detail Proactive and shows initiative Able to respond quickly to last-minute changes or challenges Skilled at prioritizing tasks under pressure You must have valid work rights in Australia.
