With a dynamic and supportive unit manager, we are seeking dynamic and clinically experienced Scrub Scout nurses who are passionate about patient care to join and support the Cardiothoracic team on a full-time basis. To succeed in this role, you will be an experienced scrub/scout nurse with previous experience across all areas of Cardiothoracic. You will bring a strong clinical skill set and have an interest in mentoring staff. As a Registered Nurse, your responsibilities will include: Deliver evidence based nursing care Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team Experience in Cardiothoracic Theatre Ensure patient and staff safety Supervise, direct and guide nursing team members; Enrolled Nurses (ENs) to deliver patient care Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation, etc. About the Company Established in 2016 the hospital is a 336 bed, 22 operating theatre facility located in Southport, the heart of the Gold Coast Precinct. About You Relevant qualifications and Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse. 3 years minimum relevant experience in Cardiothoracic Theatre Clinical leadership ( Acting ) will be highly regarded. Relevant post-graduate speciality qualifications The desire and ability to mentor staff and the ability to work within a diverse team. Excellent communication and advanced interpersonal skills.
