Full-time opportunity Affordable onsite parking / Close to Public Transport Supportive Management to Support Your Development Are you an experienced Registered Scrub Scout Nurse who is passionate about playing a key role within a supportive team in ensuring high levels of patient care are provided? We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse - Scrub Scout to join our Perioperative Team on a full-time basis. As a Perioperative Registered Nurse - Scrub Scout your responsibilities will include: Undertake peri-operative nursing care in accordance with legislation Deliver evidence-based nursing care Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team Ensure patient and staff safety Supervise, direct and guide nursing team members; Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and AINs to deliver patient care (RN only) Proactively assess the operative nursing care provided to ensure the best possible outcome is achieved for the individual / patient Document into the patient's medical record objectively, clearly, concisely and timely using accepted abbreviations and terminology About the Company This hospital is a world-class facility located in the South Eastern region of Melbourne. Close to public transport and with affordable onsite parking. It is a state-of-the-art 147 bed hospital, comprising of a 24/7 Emergency Department, 6 bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU), 9 bed specialised Coronary Care Unit (CCU), 12 bay Day Infusion Unit and 5 specialised inpatient units. – including Oncology, Urology, ENT, Orthopaedics, Plastic Surgery, Interventional Cardiology and Rehabilitation Services. About You Current Registration with AHPRA 18 months minimum experience as an RN – Scrub Scout Working with Children check (if relevant) Commitment to Quality Patient Care Compliance with ACQSHC National standards Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills Excellent communication and customer service skills Works well independently and within a team Basic computer skills
