Operations Supervisor - Pilbara Roster: 14/7 (other rosters considered) Location: Pilbara Region Employment Type: The role will be a straight permanent placement. - Immediate Start Available About the Opportunity: Category 5 Labour Management is partnering with Norwest Crane Hire , a leading provider of crane, transport, and logistics services to WA’s mining sector. We’re seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to lead field operations in the Pilbara. On a 14/7 roster , you’ll take a hands-on role overseeing crane crews, driving safe and efficient operations, and building strong site and client relationships. What You'll Be Doing Lead and support operational teams including crane operators and riggers (both permanent and labour-hire). Work closely with the Client Lead Supervisor to coordinate daily activities and ensure smooth operations across site. Maintain strong client relationships and act as a key point of contact. Ensure all crane crews work safely and meet both client and company KPIs. Oversee accurate data entry into safety and operational systems. Participate in performance assessments and identify training or development needs. Attend regular operational meetings to maintain alignment on priorities. Ensure compliance with all company, client, and site procedures. What You'll Need 2 years of leadership experience in mining services, oil & gas, armed forces, or related heavy-industry environments. Crane or mechanical experience with strong hands-on understanding of field operations. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-focused environment. Proven ability to build trust and communicate effectively with crews and clients. Strong interpersonal, influencing, and negotiation skills. Leadership qualifications and solid computer literacy.
