For more information see: https://montessoriacademy.com.au/ The Role As a Centre Director, you are responsible for the guidance, support and general supervision of children, staff, and volunteers at the service. You are expected to lead a team of Educators to ensure they are working in accordance to the service philosophy, policy and procedures, and as per the National Quality Standards (NQS), to provide high quality education and care for all enrolled children. Ensure the health, safety and well-being of all enrolled children, staff, and volunteers at the service Be the Responsible Person in Charge (RPIC) at the service Train and support the staff Ensure staff fulfill all aspects of their job descriptions Provide ongoing support and assistance to the management team in all areas of administrative procedures, curriculum development, parent and community liaison, staff professional development and training, and any other areas as the need arises Promote the service and ensure optimal centre occupancy About You Diploma qualification or a Degree in Early Childhood Education Experience completing Assessment & Rating Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Nominated Supervisor Proficient in using digital tools and technology systems Proven leadership and mentoring skills Demonstrated ability to manage staffing efficiently (optimal roster utilisation) Flexibility to work between 7:30 am – 6:30 pm Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and WHS standards Strong understanding of industry legislation, compliance and regulations Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong understanding of business management Strong understanding of the importance of family communications Knowledge of Montessori philosophy and practices (Desired) What we offer Weekly bonus based on centre occupancy 50% staff discount on childcare fees Fantastic training and development programs (ECT sponsorship, monthly in-house Montessori training etc.) Excellent career advancement opportunities Access to wellbeing programs (EAP) Generous budgets for resources and events Supportive Management Team with a flat organisational structure Think you have what it takes to join the Montessori Academy Team?
