You will be assisting mum caring for their newborn baby due in March and their 15 month old daughter. The family also have a grown up son and a friendly German Shepherd! It is essential you have experience caring for young children. The little girl loves to explore, learn, and stay active, and is generally very happy and confident. She enjoys a wide range of activities, from outdoor play to hands-on learning, and she thrives when engaged in fun, educational play. The newborn baby boy will require typical infant care, but the majority of your focus will be on supporting the little girl during this transition. The family value privacy, peace, and respect, and tend to run the household with more traditional values. Weekends are usually spent relaxing, enjoying family time, cooking, and visiting local parks, cafés, or community spaces. The family live in a comfortable home with plenty of space, including a swimming pool and a rooftop terrace with bay and city views. We would feel most comfortable with an au pair who is confident in the water to enjoy the pool. The area offers local parks, cafés, shops, walking paths, and various activities you may enjoy in your free time. Brighton is a bayside suburb, and the street ends along the waterfront. The area also has ample public transport, and you will have your own car!
