As a Patient Support Assistant improving the patient's experience is the focus of your daily tasks, both directly and indirectly. You will provide a safe environment by ensuring its cleanliness and provide staff with ready access to clean linen, material and equipment. You will have the opportunity to interact with patients by moving them safely throughout the hospital and assist the clinical team to position and support their patients during treatment and care. This is an ongoing talent pipeline to be used to fill upcoming casual vacancies at Nambour Genera Hospital and Glenbrook Residential Aged Care Facility through Sunshine Coast Health (SCH). Perform scheduled and unscheduled cleaning tasks as per task specification / procedures list. Bed cleaning and making for discharge rooms. Assist clinical staff to position and support patients during treatment and care. Salary rates: $39.05 - $41.66 p.h. employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) (OO2) (multiple casual positions and must be available to work any shifts, 24 hours a day, 7 days per week).
