Job Responsibilities: Conduct preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repairs on underground mobile equipment, including Sandvik Boggers and Drills. Perform workshop and field service operations in underground mining environments. Carry out daily equipment inspections and complete associated documentation in line with safety and operational standards. Interpret and work from electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematic drawings. Apply strong knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems to ensure equipment reliability and optimal performance. Collaborate with the maintenance and operations team, supporting additional tasks as required to meet production and safety targets. Adhere to all safety procedures, including Job Safety Environment Analysis (JSEA) and Job Hazard Assessments (JHA) for each task. Qualifications and Requirements: Minimum of 4 years’ post-trade underground mining experience. Recognised Trade Training Certificate in Mechanical or Fitting discipline. Proven experience in maintenance and support of Sandvik underground equipment is highly regarded. Strong understanding of hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems. Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and documentation. Commitment to safety with demonstrated application of JSEA and JHA practices. High School diploma and relevant tertiary qualification. English proficiency: Minimum IELTS score of 5.0 in all bands or PTE score above 36 in all bands.
