We are currently looking for suitably skilled and experienced Disability Support Workers in the South East/Bayside area, who are available to work shifts on shifts on Monday to Friday: 11am to 4pm, or Saturday: 12pm to 6pm . These shifts will involve supporting our client with transport transition, ensuring calm and safe travel between school and home. There will also be relationship building and in home respite support. What do I need? Proven experience in a similar Disability Support Worker role Experience and confidence working with young people and managing behaviours The ability to easily connect and engage, with a fun personality To be patient, empathetic, understanding, and non-judgmental Excellent communication skills, compassionate and positive attitude Recognised relevant qualifications A registered, insured car and driver’s licence All applicants must be willing to obtain the relevant mandatory screening clearances, hold relevant industry standard certificates and qualifications and complete all required pre-employment training and induction modules.
