About the Role As a Therapeutic Practitioner, you will provide specialised support to young people aged 18-22 who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. This includes working with young people facing mental health challenges, trauma, substance use, family violence, or justice involvement. Engagement can be challenging - but the rewards of building trust and seeing real change are immense. Your Key Responsibilities Deliver therapeutic support, including assessments, treatment planning, and interventions. Build strong, trusting relationships with young people, supporting them to develop coping skills and resilience. Collaborate with case managers and peer support workers to provide holistic care. Facilitate access to education, employment, and community services. Maintain accurate documentation and participate in team meetings and case reviews. What We're Looking For Tertiary qualifications in psychology, social work, counselling, or related fields. Experience meeting young people where they are, building trust, and engage those who may be reluctant or hard to reach. Strong relationship-building and engagement skills with vulnerable young people. Experience in trauma-informed practice and supporting clients with complex needs.
