Title: Chiller Technician | Industrial HVAC | Melbourne & Sydney Location: Melbourne & Sydney Work Type: Permanent Full-time About the Role We are seeking skilled Chiller Technicians to support maintenance and emergency repairs of large industrial HVAC chiller systems within data-centres and critical-infrastructure environments. This role is ideal for technicians who take pride in diagnostics, system optimisation, compressor overhauls, and delivering high-quality service to customers. You’ll work closely with scheduling teams and management to ensure timely and accurate completion of service tasks. Key Responsibilities Perform diagnostics, servicing, testing, and commissioning of large HVAC chiller systems Troubleshoot reactive breakdowns and complete repairs efficiently Overhaul and repair large chiller compressors Clean and maintain chiller equipment within critical facilities Manage planned maintenance schedules and ensure a minimum 90% completion rate Record service reports accurately using digital tools Communicate actively with scheduling teams on job status Work safely and in accordance with current codes and legislation Participate in an on-call rotation What We’re Looking For ARC Tick Refrigeration Licence Electrical Licence Fair Trading Qualified Supervisor Certificate (Air Conditioning & Refrigeration) Experience working on large industrial chillers (Turbocor experience highly regarded) Excellent computer skills and ability to use digital reporting systems Strong customer service and communication skills Self-starter with strong time-management abilities Valid Driver’s Licence Why Apply?
