The Role Our client is open to Toowoomba or Brisbane based candidates. If in Brisbane, you will be required to drive to Toowoomba minimum once a week. As an Operations Accountant, you’ll be the commercial partner driving performance - supporting key decision-making through sharp budgeting, forecasting and cost analysis. You’ll review contracts, cost centres and business performance, giving teams the insights they need to stay on track and make informed, data-driven decisions. What You’ll Do Lead budgeting, forecasting and operational cost reviews Analyse contracts and cost centres to guide revenue and cost decisions Manage overheads, budgets, and variance analysis Support weekly revenue and cost review meetings Assist month-end close including revenue and costing accruals Respond to costing, forecasting and operational queries Support tender and bid costings Maintain accuracy across finance processes (AP/AR) What You’ll Bring Degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar (CPA highly regarded) 3–5 years’ experience in operations or management accounting Strong Excel skills; exposure to Dynamics GP, SAP or similar Confident communicator with strong analytical skills Experience in commercial, energy, resources, or heavy equipment industries (advantageous) Ready to Make an Impact?
