You will play a key role in shaping and delivering our industrial relations strategy across a diverse workforce. In this position, you’ll provide expert guidance to leaders and stakeholders, ensuring compliance and driving operational improvements that support business performance. Your specialist advice will help resolve complex workplace matters, foster positive employee relations, and contribute to a culture of collaboration and fairness. Key Responsibilities: Act as a trusted advisor to leaders, providing expert guidance on workplace relations matters and drafting clear, compliant documentation. Interpret and apply employment legislation, modern awards, and enterprise agreements to ensure compliance in areas such as wage accuracy, rostering, and leave entitlements. Partner with managers to resolve workplace disputes and operational issues, including interpersonal conflicts, rostering concerns, and safety breaches, while preparing supporting documentation such as discussion records. Advise on underperformance matters and develop tailored performance improvement plans that drive positive outcomes. Manage fitness-for-work cases, liaising with medical practitioners and drafting appropriate documentation to support business and employee needs. Escalate complex or high-risk matters, including those that may lead to termination, to the Specialist P&C Advisor or Head of Workplace Relations. Champion a fair and consistent approach to workplace relations, fostering a positive culture and ensuring compliance with legal and organizational standards.
