Brewing Joy in Every Cup! Calling all 'Green thumbs'! We are seeking a plant loving volunteer in a city setting. We need your help to come and water, prune and weed our existing raised garden beds and pots. There's no hard labour involved, just an opportunity to give back and share your love of gardening. You'll help to provide a beautiful setting in our care homes. Our residents like to partake in the upkeep but need a little extra help to keep things blooming. Your impact Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated. HammondCare HammondCare is an independent Christian charity and we're passionate about improving the quality of life for people in need. We have a wonderful group of volunteers that partner with us to enhance the lives of people cared for by HammondCare. HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community. Requirements National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare, NDIS Worker Screening Check • We'd be happy to discuss a suitable time during the week for a one hour visit between 9am and 4pm Monday to Sunday, visits are fortnightly depending on your availability.
