About the Role Based in our Brisbane Head Office, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Product Developer. This role drives Lorna Jane's vision and mission by bringing the creative vision to life while upholding technical excellence, quality standards, and meeting customer expectations. The ideal candidate will share our passion for Active Living and empowering women to live a life that they love. Responsibilities include: Attend and document fit sessions, working closely with production manager and designers to perfect fit, quality and specification of each style. Resolve any potential problems relating to fit, fabric, workmanship, quality or design and function. Document and communicate all required fit changes and trim submissions back to the manufacturer and suppliers accurately and in detail, continuing this process over multiple samples until garment is ready for production. Inspect a portion of all bulk product upon delivery to ensure quality standards have been met, before product is released for sale. Conducting wash and wear testing to ensure products are fit for purpose, in line with Lorna Jane quality standards. Ensure all products have relevant and necessary labelling and packaging. Creating care instructions for each product and ensuring this labelling meets Australian and New Zealand standards. Create and maintain all tech packs translating design concepts to ensure samples and bulk products are made correctly as per Designer specifications. Work with suppliers and manufacturers to develop new fabrics, trims and prints. Establishing and maintaining relationships with suppliers to enable seamless communication and efficient processes and updating all internal and shared documents as needed. What are we looking for?
