Job Description Griffith Health Clinics provide high-quality primary healthcare services while supporting the education and training of the next generation of health professionals. We are seeking a Dental Assistant to support students and staff in delivering exceptional patient care. Key responsibilities for this role will include: Assist staff and students across a broad range of dental treatments and procedures. Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in the clinic, which includes maintaining dental equipment and preparing equipment for sterilisation. Ensure smooth clinic operations under the direction of the Dental Assistant Team Leader. Provide administrative and reception support as required. Stay updated on industry developments through ongoing professional development. About you To be successful in this role, you will hold: An Australian Dental Assistant qualification or recognised equivalent is highly desirable. Current CPR/First Aid Certification from a recognised provider. Current Queensland Blue Card (or willingness to obtain). In addition to the above, you will demonstrate: Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Ability to work under supervision and contribute to efficient clinic operations. Strong administrative skills with attention to detail. A commitment to patient care and student learning. What we can offer This is a continuing, full-time position based primarily at Griffith University Gold Coast. Griffith University’s campuses are located on the lands of the Yugarabul, Yuggera, Jagera, Turrbal, Yugambeh and Kombumerri peoples. Salary Range The full-time equivalent base salary will be HEW Level 4 range $73,623 - $77,680 per annum 17% superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $86,139 - $90,886 per annum.
