As a Food & Beverage Team Member, you’ll be serving up tasty eats and good vibes across our outlets. Roles & Responsibilities: Our Food & Beverage team has a range of roles to suit different skills: General (Counter Operator, Runner & Support Roles): Provide exceptional guest service with a friendly attitude, minimising wait times and queues. Operate POS registers accurately and follow PCI requirements before each shift. Keep all areas clean, tidy, and stocked throughout the day. Assist with preparing and delivering guest orders quickly and efficiently. Maintain hygiene and safety standards, including RSA compliance where required. Complete start and end-of-day duties as directed by leadership. RSA/Bar Attendant: Must be over 18years of age and hold a valid RSA. Uphold and enforce RSA standards at all times. Operate POS and maintain a clean, well-stocked bar area. Monitor seating areas for cleanliness and age compliance. Assist with food service when needed. Barista: Prepare high-quality coffee and specialty beverages to standard. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee station. Keep supplies stocked and equipment in good working condition. Deliver friendly, efficient service to all guests. Food Preperation: Prepare and present food orders to required standards including platters and buffets for group bookings. Follow correct equipment usage, food handling, hygiene, and labelling procedures. Ensure service stations are stocked and ready for service. Clean equipment thoroughly after use and leave work areas spotless at shift end. Workplace Health & Safety (WHS): Follow and comply with Work Health Safety policies, procedures, and guidelines. Correctly use all safety and personal protective equipment. Act as a role model by demonstrating safe work behaviours. Report WHS incidents, injuries and safety activities to your direct Manager and First Aid at the time it occurs. Promote proactive hazard/ near miss reporting. Report any hazards or near-miss incidents to your direct Manager. Attend Work Group Meetings to discuss and promote safety. Education: Desirable: Food Handling certification Barista qualifications RSA Languages: Fluent English Skills: Customer service skills Be able to handle multiple priorities simultaneously. Knowledge of Food Safety requirements. Ability to interact in a professional and positive manner. Experience - Desirable: Knowledge of point-of-sale systems. Experience in a fast food, Barista or Bar environment? Any other relevant comments: Ability to work flexible working hours including but not limited to weekends, evenings, and public holidays. Must be available to work a minimum of twice per week during the peak season. Adhere to the Company Code of Conduct policy. Be able to work in all weather conditions including sun and rain, hot and cold climates, indoor and outdoor work. To carry out all duties and responsibilities as assigned by your Direct Manager, General Manager, or any member of the Management Team. Adhere to the Employee Handbook content and requirements. Smoking in the workplace is allowed in designated smoking areas only. You are required to have a high level of physical fitness and stamina and be physically fit. Physical requirements include but are not limited to walking, carrying, lifting, reaching, bending, pushing, pulling squatting, sitting, standing, twisting and repetitious movements. Team member benefits: This is a casual position from October to April, with the need to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings, and public holidays during the season. Must be available to work a minimum of twice per week during the peak season 15 December 2025 to 1 February 2026. The hourly rates are in accordance with the Amusement, Events and Recreation Award. Food & Beverage Team Members aged 20 years or older are paid at a Grade 2 hourly rate of $25.85 per hour plus 25% casual loading ($32.31 per hour includes casual loading). Different rates apply for applicants 19 years of age and under. Penalty rates apply for Sundays and Public Holidays.
