Location:Henderson Job Role: Maintain diverse Defense equipment, applying your mechanical and hydraulic expertise to support a wide range of Naval Defense systems for the ADF and other clients. Diagnose faults and carry out corrective maintenance on mechanical plant and equipment to minimise downtime in a maritime environment. Execute maintenance tasks in line with technical instructions and accurately record all activities in the maintenance management system. Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications. Support the installation, commissioning, and testing of new mechanical systems and equipment as required. Perform general site duties while maintaining full compliance with safety procedures and standards Requirements: Australian citizenship Australian Trade Qualified Mechanical Fitter Minimum of 2 years post-trade experience Proficiency in Hydraulics is advantageous Clear pre-employment medical assessment Eligibility for and maintenance of a Defence access pass, including police/security clearance checks. A motivated and Positive attitude towards work.
